This kitchen was curated rather than built by our team. With a view to sustainability the units were salvaged and installed with new bespoke handles. The style and decorative elements were used to create a distinct space with a colonial vibe. The original walls were bright blue with dark wooden surfaces. We replaced the floor with marbled ceramic tiles, replicated in the splash back. The island was painted dark green and the sink and taps replaced with Perrin and Rowe brassware. Handprinted fabric from India was used in the window treatments and antique furniture and prints were used to enhance the scheme.
